Barre Class:

A fun, upbeat, and low impact class that focuses on high repetition to the beat of the music. In this class we break down how to accurately perform barre workout exercises, and what muscles should be working digging into to some anatomy here and there. Be ready for a full body workout that will get you sweating! We end with a short stretch/cool down.  

Never done barre? Don’t think you’re a dancer? Prefer to lift heavy weights? Prefer a hit class? Little Known Fact: Barre can be one of the most challenging workouts when performed correctly. No matter what you’re training for, this is a great way to cross train, stabilize, and become stronger. All are welcome, camera on or off.

Mat | Barre (or chair or back of couch or countertop) | Light weights (rec. 2/3 lb) | Circle band | Yoga block (or pillow) | Slider (or paper plate on carpet, wash-cloth will work on hard floor).

Recovery Class:

A class that will help you recover. Whether it’s from a recent injury or your weekly workout or run schedule, or maybe you just need to recover from sitting at a desk all week! In this class we talk about anatomy and common issues many people experience in their mobility and ability to activate certain muscle groups. This class is a slower pace. We will focus on foam rolling (self myo-facial release), mobility, stretching, and light muscle activation. The goal here is to retrain the nervous system and improve our neuromuscular efficiency. This class will change from week to week based on the needs of the attendees. If you make a request in advance for a specific trouble area, I will prepare specific exercises and stretches for class to help you move forward with your goals.  All are welcome, camera on or off.

Yoga mat | Foam roller | Small therapeutic ball (tennis, or for the intense people lacrosse or even a peanut tool) | Large therapeutic ball | Yoga strap (or a dog leash will work) | Yoga block | Circle band
